The Purpose of the Foundation: What Are Our Activities?

1. We promote science and research, learning and education, artistic, charitable, environmental and ecological schemes, as well as measures aimed at international understanding and development aid.
2. We promote measures and projects that are based on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner; this includes the promotion of related endeavors.
3. We also promote teaching and education in the Heidenheim area through grants to underprivileged and gifted young people, as well as to employees of companies belonging to the Voith Group in Heidenheim and their children in order to enable them to pursue and complete their studies at universities and technical colleges in areas of the natural, engineering and business sciences. In special cases, this kind of support can also be granted to other individuals.

Who Can Receive a Grant?

• People and institutions that pursue the stated purposes of the foundation.
• Underprivileged and gifted young people in the Heidenheim area.
• Employees and children of employees of companies that are part of the Voith Group in Heidenheim.
• Other individuals, depending on the circumstances. 

How Does the Support Procedure Operate?

We distinguish between

1. applications for grants for studies of natural, engineering or economic science and
2. applications for sponsorship of other foundation purposes.

• The application should be submitted on the relevant application form.
• The deadlines for applications are 15 March and 15 October each year. 
• The allocation of the grants takes place after decision of the Management Board, approximately May/June and December.
• The amount of the maintenance grant and the duration of the payments depend on the financial capacities of the foundation.
• The payment of a grant does not constitute a legal entitlement.

Regarding b) applications for grants for other foundation purposes

• An application for a grant must be filed.
• Applications can be filed anytime.
• The payment of a grant does not constitute a legal entitlement.
